First time visitors to Cornwall will be surprised at the quality and extent of our sandy beaches, many and varied - from surfing to the safe stretches of golden sand suitable for all the family.
There are many attractions nearby which will enthral you. From the multi-million pound Eden Project (free weekend transport) to the quaint havens which dot the coastline. Replica square sail ships can be seen a few minutes away in Charlestown Harbour.
The area is steeped in history, from smuggling, infamous wreckers who lured unwary captains onto the rocks and tin mining which played a big part in the local economy.
Now the leisure trade is vital to Cornwall and many businesses have sprung up to cater for the annual influx of visitors. So even if the weather does not entice you to the beach there are always plenty of other attractions to keep the family occupied. We have bikes for hire at £5.00 per day. We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy the great holiday atmosphere of Cornwall.
